Lisa Shannon, founder of Run for Congo Women and close partner of Raise Hope for Congo, appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show yesterday. Shannon started Run for Congo Women three years ago after watching an episode of the Oprah Winfrey show where she learned about Congo and felt moved to do something to help the women of Congo.
