I received this email from Sony Ericsoon this morning. I then followed up with the following email but have yet to hear back.

Dear Paul,

I too think it is unfortunate you were unable to provide me with more information on the location of where your minerals are sourced.Â

Do you have any information that you could provide for me that makes claim that Sony Ericcson does not have a direct link to the mining of coltan or other minerals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo?

I will not willingly buy from an electronic manufacturer in the future that isn't making ethical choices in its production of the products I am buying. Â
