Conflict-Free Campus Initiative Luncheon

Jul 27, 2012

The Conflict-Free Campus Initiative is a growing movement with chapters on over 100 campuses across the country. CFCI draws on the power of student leadership and activism to bring about peace in Congo. By encouraging university officials and stakeholders, both of whom are large purchasers of electronics and powerful spokespersons, to commit to measures that pressure electronics companies to responsibly invest in Congo's minerals sector, students are voicing the demand for conflict-free products from Congo. At this Luncheon, students will learn how they can become involved in CFCI on their campus and help bring peace to Congo.
