In light of the escalating humanitarian and human rights crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Amnesty International will be holding an International Day of Action on November 23. That day, Amnesty members around the world will speak out about human rights violations in the DRC. AI USA will organize an emergency rally in front of the White House at 2pm on Sunday, November 23, in order to raise awareness about the crisis. Activists at the rally will call on the U.S. government to support the UN peace keeping mission and commit to a long term human rights strategy in the region.
